Job Description

A prominent biotech firm in Boston is currently in search of a Cost Accountant , presenting a fantastic opportunity to join a highly esteemed organization and advance your career. This position, based in our Boston, MA office, operates on a hybrid work model, with three days in the office and two days remote each week. This is a contract position with the possibility of being converted full-time.

The ideal candidate has strong cost accounting experience or strong month-end close experience at a biopharma.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Fundamental comprehension of accounting principles applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Oracle EBS or similar ERP systems.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, ensuring prompt and informative responses to stakeholder inquiries.
• Capability to identify and escalate issues effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent field.
• Typically, two years of experience in corporate finance/accounting, public accounting, or a relevant blend of education and experience.
• Track record of success in a collaborative team environment.
