Title: Sales Specialist – Sony’s AITRIOS Solutions

Sony Semiconductor Solutions is the world leader in the development and distribution of image sensor solutions and helped to democratize photo and video capture by enabling our technology in the palm of the world’s hands through image capture on smartphones. Role

The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving enterprise deals all the way from deal discovery, consulting, design, commercial negotiation, closing, and billing, by having deep knowledge of Sony’s AITRIOS solutions, understanding customer’s technical and business needs, and orchestrating external and internal stakeholders. You will continually seek revenue growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling. The Sales Specialist is an experienced deal maker who can understand customer’s strategy, build deep relationships, and drive growth and success for both the customers and Sony.

Responsibilities

  1. Pro-actively follows up potential deals from exhibitions, inquiries, and outbound activities to initiate first contact, driving deals to the next stage by stimulating customer interest based on prior investigation of customer strategies and situations.
  2. Prioritizes and manages pipelines based on business potential, Sony’s AITRIOS solutions line-ups, and overall strategy.
  3. Builds and maintains relationships with executives and decision-makers at each level of customer organizations by identifying and proposing solutions based on understanding of customer business and technology needs.
  4. Develops and oversees the execution of account plans by proposing Sony’s AITRIOS solutions for each assigned account to ensure revenue targets are met.
  5. Drives accountability to deliver on account plans by orchestrating internal teams such as marketing and engineering.
  6. Thinks strategically about customer planning and priorities, engaging internal and external decision-makers on long-term business planning.
  7. Develops plans to offer solutions that satisfy customers' key performance indicators (KPIs) and align the right partner solutions for customer industry needs.
  8. Develops value-proposition presentations and specialized business plans for customers that drive business outcomes.
  9. Presents business plans to customers to generate new non-qualified opportunities.
  10. Implements strategies to engage relevant stakeholders of assigned accounts and create and/or identify up-selling/cross-selling non-qualified opportunities.

Product & Industry Knowledge

Pro-actively gathers and learns knowledge of Sony’s AITRIOS solutions, industry reports, and strategy to improve plans for the assigned accounts.

Requirements

  1. Minimum:
  2. 5+ years technology-related business-to-business sales or account management experience
  3. Bachelor’s Degree
  4. Strong communication and presentation skills
  5. Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues effectively
  6. Deep understanding of customer strategic partnerships and relationship management
  7. Proficiency in sales strategy and managing sales pipeline

  2. Master’s Degree
  3. 2-3 years direct experience in Cloud applications, Artificial Intelligence, Image Sensors industry
  4. Fluency in Japanese language

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000.00 to $122,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on various factors, including qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific skills, level of education attained, certifications, and location.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits, paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave after six months of employment.
