About The Role:
A Finance Analyst in the Finance Leadership Development Program will engage in entry-level finance tasks, gaining insights into Caterpillar's operations and financial practices.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Providing financial management support to various business partners.
• Exploring opportunities across diverse finance-related areas.
• Managing multi-currency cash flows.
• Mitigating foreign exchange and commodity risks.
• Executing investment strategies for our retirement fund.
• Analyzing supplier financial strength and enhancing dealer performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Full-time enrollment in a 4-year accredited university/college in Finance, Economics, or a related field with at least 18 hours of Finance courses.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (both Finance and cumulative).
• Expected graduation between December 2024 and August 2025.

Skills Needed for Success in Role:

• Financial Markets: Understanding of financial products, competitors, and regulatory considerations.
• Financial Analysis: Proficiency in interpreting financial data and drawing conclusions.
• Planning and Organizing: Ability to effectively manage tasks and resources.
• Communicating Complex Concepts: Skill in simplifying technical information for diverse audiences.
• Problem Solving: Competence in identifying and resolving operational issues.

Additional Details:
