Medical Device Assembler

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated Assembler I to join our team on a 12-18 month contract.

  • This role involves assembling and testing medical devices using a variety of tools, fixtures, and equipment.

  • You will be working in a cleanroom environment, with a focus on quality and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

  • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.

  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor.

  • Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with microscope and small part assembly.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to work with a microscope for 90% of the shift.

  • Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device assembly.

  • Cleanroom experience.

  • Proficiency with hand tools and measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.

Work Environment

  • You will be working in a cleanroom environment, 100% of the time, alongside close stations.

  • The role requires flexibility to work weekdays and Saturdays as needed, with potential shifts starting as early as 5:00 am and ending at 3:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
