Synopsis
Bicentennial Nigger is a haunting melange of photographs, film clips and magazine articles that distills the essence of the African-Americans' experience in this country from Jamestown in 1619 through the Civil War to Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath.

Director’s Bio
Matthew Jackson is a Los Angeles based filmmaker.  He is a principal in the commercial/documentary production company razorbackfilms, a company whose previous clients have included Everlast, EMI, and ESPN Classic.
